Deflection started life as a improvised noodling session at home where i just played my Novation Peak and tweaked a few knobs for a while. It was never intended to be an album yet alone have a Bandcamp release. The concept came from a suggestion on facebook for an experimental gig where you play for 30minutes using a single sound source. Having spent several weeks beforehand listening to TD's In Search Of Hades, this had obviously entered my subconscious and provided the sonic inspiration. Given the similarities I decided to add some production and tribute Perge tributing TD. When time becomes a loop and all that...
